What makes Cel-Fi the right solution to poor signal?
Cel-Fi, made by Nextivity, has been designed to be "unconditionally network safe" which means it won't harm the operators network and it won't interfere with any other equipment, such as WiFi and Bluetooth. Strict OFCOM regulations govern the use of mobile signal boosters, and Cel-Fi complies fully making it one of the only license exempt products on the market. Those cheap ones on Amazon? Probably not...
Cel-Fi doesn't intercept any of the mobile traffic, and it doesn't send it over the internet either. It simply grabs the signal from outside and rebroadcasts it inside, maintinaing the same levels of security for the users as they would have if they were stood out in the street.
Unlike WiFi calling, the handover between Cel-Fi and the outside network is seamless, that means users can enter and exit your building without dropping the call. In fact, they won't even notice that they're using a boosted signal! The five bars in the top corner of their screen might be a giveaway though.
Select which mobile networks and technologies you want to boost, and change them if required. You're not tied to a service provider, if you change corporate networks the settings in Cel-Fi can be changed to match. Each input can be assigned to an operator, and different bands or capabilities boosted for that input. For example, we can bring a Vodafone signal into one input and boost the 3G and 4G signal, or two different bands of 4G signal (see our blog posts for an explanation of how different bands have different capabilities).
When it comes to redistributing the signal, the Cel-Fi Quatra 4000 has six on-board Coverage Unit ports, which can be expanded up to 12 with the additional Fibre Hub. Coverage Units broadcast the boosted signals inside your building, in a similar way to how WiFi works. The Coverage Units are connected back to the Network Unit (the main brain) via ethernet cables (minimum CAT5e), which may already be in place within your building.

The Cel-Fi Go G41 is perfect for smaller office spaces, warehouses or underground areas. The G41 packs a punch, with 1500 square metres of coverage!
The G41's robust construction and small form mean it can be discretely installed almost anywhere. Both external and internal antennas are fed via co-axial cable, with the possibility of multiple internal antennas to increase coverage footprint.

If you need more than one network, it's possible to install several G41s in parallel, reducing the installation requirements considerably, and allowing multiple mobile operators to be rebroadcast over a single cable.
